Essentially, you can eat what ever makes your body feel it’s best…But your mind? That needs to be healthy too, so if eating animals makes you feel bad or upset then It’s probably better you make positive choices to remove it gradually.
I’m glad you buy locally though, supporting the economy! I buy fresh fruit and veg locally but I can’t afford the meat prices!

We currently source our food locally and from places we trust, but ultimately I’m still eating an animal :/

My Daughter only eats certain meats. I think a lot of it is down to personal choice x

I am almost meat free – I do eat chicken but have virtually cut out other meat – just because I don’t like the thought of it any more! I like quorn as a substitute. Kaz x

I’m not pro meat or meat-free. I’m neither, I definitely couldn’t be a vegetarian, I love my fajitas and burritos too much! x

I’m really happy to have days without meat if I’m doing just cardio, strength sessions I need the meat! x

I’m on a very high protein diet at the moment for strength training and there is just no way I would be able to get all that protein strictly from plants without having to eat ALL DAY (like cows do!). I eat a lot of meat, but I eat a lot of vegetables too. 🙂

My 6 year old is almost meat free (through his choice), he has decided he doesn’t like meat and will only eat ‘soft’ meats ie mince, ham… He mostly has a vegetarian diet, I ensure he gets his fibre, protein… In other ways.
As always a great and informative post!
