Rich goey chocolate brownies. They’re Vegan and are lower in sugar and higher in protein than traditional packet brownies, which means they’ll leave your sweet tooth satisfied at the end of the day! Try these chocolate orange vegan brownies and you won’t be disappointed.
Step 1- Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees and line a square baking tin with grease proof paper.
In a Large mixing bowl, Measure out and combine your dry ingredients; Flour, Cocoa, Sughttp://purelyamy.co.uk/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=recipe#ar, protein, flax, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Whilst your ingredients are all ready and waiting, prep your orange. Slice it as thinly as possible, I use a very delicate tomato knife and I layed slices on the bottom of the tin saving six for the top
Combine the wet ingredients into the mixture slowly, excluding the margerine. Once they’re combined you can now add the marge (I leave it until last as it can just get too soggy and then clumpy!)
The mixture should be fairly thick, pouring slowly, move your mixture to the side of the container. I like to leave a very light dip in the centre of the brownies, so the rise evenly.

Step 6- Pour the mix into the lined baking tin and pop into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
You will know they are done when you put a knife or skewer in and it comes out clean and they are springy to the touch.
Top tip – Cut your orange into quarter slices, you get much more orange in each bite!
