Hi, I’m Amy.

I’m very sarcastic in my writing and casual in how I give you the information, but that’s because I want it to come across from a loving perspective, your health is your life. It’s not a textbook for you to read, it’s a piece of information for you to learn from a caring voice. (me). I’m soft & hard when it comes to talking to you about your diet. Sometimes I might gently nudge you in the right direction, other times I might be shouting at you to “put that burrito down!”

Most health websites and blogs talk to you about what they eat and why they eat it. Well, I do that too, but mostly I’m giving you the best foods for all diets, not just my own. I want to give you the information to interpret how your body should function and give you ‘pure’ and simple ideas for introducing healthy foods into your lifestyle.

Personally, I’ve battled with my weight for years, suffering with eating disorders, negative comments on my personal health and not really knowing what was the best for me.By 18 I was 2 stone over weight and really unhappy with what I had done with myself..

The lack of knowledge gave me a kick up the backside and made me realise that there are a lot of things people don’t really know about health and food. So I studied, and wrote, and researched and questioned… Learning a lot along the way I found the best way to understand how our individual diets affect us, by listening to the problems that people have!20150719_132910

It really made me realise, I want to be the person to help them. With my casual writing style I hope you can get to know me better and realise that eating healthily doesn’t have to be hard, or expensive.

Little changes go a long way!

I’m 24 and in my fifth year of writing a blog, I’ve always advised people. It’s just who I am “mummy bear” advisor to all! Even in the play ground the other children would run up to me to solve the disputes, I felt..

like superwoman. Swooping in to save the day.

I think that’s the thing that encouraged me to go out and help people, It’s what I’ve always done. It took me a few years to find a way of reaching out to help those who really need it, before this I’d just go to the weight loss forums and try to reach out. If you’re reading this and you’re overweight then don’t switch off because I’m a healthy fit person…

In 2011 I found myself unable to walk to the local shops without getting out of breath and by later 2011 I had been to a walk-in clinic twice with chest pains. I was 18 and 3 stone over weight, some of you may be more than that (It really depends on how talk you are and any under lying conditions) but to me 3 stone was enough. I made a change.
