Healthy banana and apple smoothie/Ice cream.

Refreshing Smoothie.

1 banana
1/2 an apple
1 thin slice of lemon, with rind ( i froze mine)
2 table spoons of raisins.
1/2 a cup of peel-less cucumber ( i used the inside of my cucumber cups that i’d saved and frozen.)

Optional, add 12 cup of milk

The overall flavour is very lemony, its zingy, tangy and refreshing. I’d describe it as a thick banana milkshake flavoured almost like lemonade. The apple is barely recognisable.

Put it all in a blender and blend, for 4-5 mins resting every 30 seconds. Until it is smooth. i added 3 tbsp of water to mine and froze it for 1 hour.

Everyone knows how good fruits ad vegetables are for a healthy diet, why not include all 5 in one drink. They are also rich in vitamin A, B1, B6, C & D, Folate, Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium. You would never guess it had cucumber in it!

Serves 1 as a lunch meal.
 or split into smaller portions and one more blended banana and fully freeze for ice cream. The banana makes it creamier and more ice cream textured.
