Fabletics sportswear review: Full outfit for £22 bargain or bust?

Fabletics Sportswear review.

Towards the end of last year I’d decided to run the 8 mile mini-marathon (I collapsed last year after only 3.5 miles) so it is going to be a hard challenge.

So, what does a challenge deserve? my full attention and commitment and with that being said I was looking for new ‘gear’ to help push me over the finish line in style. I spent a few days looking for the right style I wanted, it was just where to get it from that I was struggling with, I saw the TV ad for Fabletics with up to 40% off so I jumped at it.

My opinion of Fabletics

The overall site is immense, they have organisation beyond anything I’ve seen, from the moment you long in they have a questionnaire that will sort all the outfits that might interest you into price order. It goes through; size, style, sport type, and location so you don’t have to sift through the 1000’s of outfits they have on the site.

The site’s options vary vastly and the prices are quite good for sports wear ( I normally pay anything from £15-25) so £22 for a full outfit was towards to upper end.
Saying that the quality of the leggings
is fantastic, they’re sweat proof and keep the warm in which is perfect for winter jogs.(see picture).
However they don’t come to a good length, they’re in-between ankle and knee and it hits my calves directly, I bought them for jogging and feel uncomfortable when climbing steep peaks as the fabric slightly squeezes my calves.

The t-shirt it came with is definitely below par, it’s as though they put so much effort into the comfort and technology in the leggings they gave up on the t-shirt that is a basic cotton blend that was ill fitting, I’m a size 10 but because I carry top-heavy I wear size 12’s on top, the tank top felt like a size 14!.

Overall
I’d have to say if I’m in need of women’s wear I will definitely be hovering on their website to have a look for the styles and prices, If they’re a good price then I’ll make a purchase, but sportswear is important so its not a quick decision.
