I’ve been upto 11st 4 and down to 9st 2 in the past and the one staple of my health has been jillian.
As everyone knows i’m the worlds biggest fan of Jillian Michaels, not in a creepy way, in a..Oh my god it hurts to laugh she’s so good…kind of way.

I will always preach that she is the trainer to go with, Her latest dvd’s are always the ones to get. I’ve done so many of her workouts with great results, almost to the point where i like eating crap so i have weight to lose.

10 Reasons :Why i love jillian Michaels DVD’s
  1. They’re affordable: most dvd’s for 30 days cost 30+ some of them 100’s of pounds, jillians are around £6.00-£12.00
  2. They’re quick: usually 20-30 mins which means you can get on with your day.
  3. They’re low maintenance: Weights only.. non of this ” does not include stretch bands, kettle bells, sandbags, dip station”
  4. She’s positive and tells you what you want, instead of shouting at you making you hate to workout.

I completed this in march 2014 and i was pushed past my limit, proud, tearful, boastful, grateful. Jillian michaels in this dvd gave me back what i needed, myself. I noticed my arms and legs mostly ( a lot of it is plank and arms incorporating cardio too)
Intermediate progressing to advanced!
One of the hardest workouts ever. (harder then insanity…just less time)
Covers all: strength cardio and abs. Arms, shoulders HIGH,  legs & Stomach.

Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (Released 2011)4/5

I completed this in october of 2013 and it was the hardest workout i had done at that time, it progressed from beginner to intermediate at a good pace and with only 20 minute sessions it left me feeling energetic and accomplished.
Intermediate workout, definitely good for a beginner, covers all strength cardio and abs balanced. Arms legs stomach.
For under £6.00 you really can’t go wrong

Monthly: from 2013. I must say i only do level 1, along side my 30 day shred or just if i need a pick me up, I really do love this, it’s always my go to.
This is a very basic workout and intermediate ab workout. Low cardio low strength High abs.
Her Level 1 is available for free on youtube.

        Jillian Michaels Shred it with weights (Released 2010)4/5

Monthly: from 2013. I have only done the level one with this as i always hurt my back after it, huh. Since buying my kettlebells (from davina) 5lbs 11lbs 15lbs, i have enjoyed this workout.
Intermediate Covers mostly strength and abs. Arms and stomach.

Fantastic workout, it feels kickboxing based and really gets you in the mood to lose weight, again it is only my pick up workout at the end of the week.
If i want cardio i go for this, if i want abs i go for 6 week six pack.
Definitely not a beginner workout, my legs ache after 20 mins of this brilliant workout.
High cardio, High Legs. (no abs or arms really.)

My schedule is as follows. However i have recently (march 2014) started insanity.
Week 1

  1. Ripped level 1 +6 week six pack.
  2. Ripped level 2 + 6 week six pack
  3. Boost metabolism 
  4. Ripped level 3 + 10 mins of added cardio. 
  5. Ripped level 3 + 15 mins of added cardio
  6. Break
  7. Boost metabolism + 20 crunches and 15 toe touches.
Week 2
  1. Ripped level 4 + 10 mins of added cardio
  2. Ripped level 4 + 15 mins of added cardio
  3. Boost metabolism + 20 crunches and 15 toe touches.
  4. Ripped level 2 + Six week six pack 
  5. Ripped level 3 + 10 mins of added cardio.
  6. Ripped level 3 + 15 mins of added cardio
  7. Break
Week 3

  1. Boost metabolism + 20 crunches and 15 toe touches.
  2. Ripped level 3 + 10 mins of added cardio
  3. Ripped level 3 + 15 mins of added cardio
  4. Boost metabolism + 20 crunches and 15 toe touches.
