Agh I know,
I say thank you far too much but at this time of year it’s always busy which means more readers and views (the worst to take a break). But that’s exactly what I do. I normally only take a week off and some even just a few days but this year I took almost 3 full weeks off and my views barely dented. Which means I had your support throughout the whole month and I can’t explain how much that means to me.
Yes, Christmas is difficult for diet and exercise and I feel awful for having to take that time away from you. Not being there to support all of you with health and dietary advice but to have some time to myself and with family. It really has been absolutely amazing to spend some time relaxing with my family and not having to think about writing up an article. I love it, don’t get me wrong…but it’s amazing to really switch off so,
I spent the big day with Tom’s lovely family, we had an amazing Christmas dinner and I stuffed my face with broccoli and sprouts! I also got out to see my brothers and sisters for a night of food/booze and games in the local pub, it was really an amazing year and to top it off we had a greek themed party and my aunts. Who out did herself this year, decorating the whole house with greek inspired decor, grapes anyone?
– We definitely said goodbye to 2016 (and good riddance) in style!
I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New year and enjoyed yourself. Whether that be at a family party, works do or relaxing at home with a nice cup of tea. I hope it was what you needed because we’re back to work and kicking butt in the gym so you best be back on top form!
I’m back from my break so things will be back to normal, starting with Tuesday this week! Remember to schedule your workouts and eating plans this week for the start of your new year new you plan. God knows I need it after the past few months! I haven’t regretted a second of it but my waist says otherwise so I’m back to a normal routine starting January 1st!
Bring on 2017!
Sending love and motivation,
